Experience in Digital Investigations and Conflict Management

With 35 years of experience in law enforcement – including 18 years as a specialized digital forensic investigator, 12 of which at Kripos' National Cybercrime Center (NC3) – I have developed a unique interdisciplinary expertise that combines intelligence, technical proficiency, and human insight. My work has included:

• Tactical and strategic investigations (including assistance in complex national criminal cases)

• Digital intelligence and cybercrime (computers, mobile devices, cloud platforms, log analysis, OSINT)

• Forensic acquisition and preservation of electronic evidence

• Prevention and analysis of financial crime and fraud

• Training and guidance for police and partner agencies – including international engagement

• Conflict resolution and relationship-building in demanding situations

• Crime prevention and proactive intervention

• Coaching and follow-up for individuals in vulnerable life situations – including work inclusion and career transitions

• Broad operational experience in frontline policing, K9 services, youth outreach, and interdisciplinary collaboration with child welfare services, NAV, and the justice system

I have supported cases where safety, connection, and trust were critical – and I am experienced in meeting both youth and adults with respect and structure during vulnerable phases.

In addition, I have taught internationally (e.g. through Europol/ECTEG), been responsible for course development at the Norwegian Police University College, and have extensive experience planning and conducting seminars and professional development days for both law enforcement and interdisciplinary audiences.
